About

Trained as an architect and planner, Peter Lambur has more than 30 years of professional experience in the design and management of large, multi-disciplinary projects with 20 years specializing in healthcare facilities design. His work has earned him several awards for design excellence including the prestigious Governor General's Medal for Architecture Award. He currently holds position of Principal at Peter Lambur Architect, Inc. (PLA) and has previously served as Principal with B+H Architects as well as Healthcare Practice Leader for Western Canada, Senior Associate at IBI Group, and Founding Principal and Lambur Scott Morris Architects. Since 2004, Peter has been involved in public private partnership (P3) projects in British Columbia as a proponent team member and in the capacity of Owner's advisor. He is the first Canadian architect to be granted Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC) by the Center for Health Design and is an advocate of sustainable design practices applied to healthcare facility development.
